I have a project that uses SVN and I may download the latest files from there.
This is a minimal SVN command memo to be used when you just want a specified file, and you want to retrieve such a little file.
svn installation
sudo apt-get install subversion
List of files in directory
svn ls \ $path \ --username $username \ --password $passowrd \ --no-auth-cache
File Download
svn export \ $path \ --username $username \ --password $passowrd \ --no-auth-cache
Specify revision and download file
svn export \ $path \ --revision $revision \ --username $username \ --password $passowrd \ --no-auth-cache
Obtaining file revision logs
svn log \ $path \ --quiet \ --username $username \ --password $passowrd \ --no-auth-cache
